Susan's Kettlebell Training

There isn't much out there that logs entire Kettlebell Training sessions. You can get them, but they aren't free. This blog is going to contain not only 3 full hour long Kettlebell training sessions a week BUT also 3 full hour Strength Training sessions and commentary by me: Susan J.f. Bartley, Personal trainer and RKC Level I & II at South Carolina Barbell in Columbia, SC

Tuesday Evening

We had a newcomer to KB class last night but I knew she was up to the challenge of a hard class. This is what we did:

20 Double Swings
12 (per arm) walking alternating overhead press

We did this for about 10 sets - a quarter of a mile. Then we started to run out of time and still had a way to go before we got back around to the back door so I took pity.

40 yards in the rack position then overhead press to failure
40 yards in the locked overhead position then overhead press to failure
40 yards in a 90 degree bicep curl locked position then 15 oil pumpers
40 yards of farmers walk/shrugs

This morning for cardio I did 50 minutes on the elliptical with a 30 lb. weight vest on. I had a high incline and worked at level 5 - 10. I was reading the new Dresden Files book by Jim Butcher which I picked up yesterday so the time just flew by.
